Spring flavoured water

Tumeric lemonade – makes 25 glasses

INGREDIENTS

  • 15 lemons, sliced
  • 15 inches fresh turmeric root, roughly chopped
  • 100ml maple syrup
  • 8 litres water

METHOD

  • Place the lemon and turmeric into a large container. Cover with water and refrigerate overnight
  • When ready to serve, strain and add maple syrup to taste
  • Serve with ice and lemon slices

 

Ginger Beer – makes 25 glasses

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 litres fiery ginger beer

METHOD

  • Serve with ice and sliced lemon

 

Watermelon and mint water – makes 25 glasses

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 watermelons, skinned and cut into pieces
  • 6 lemons, sliced
  • 1 bunch mint
  • 8 litres water

METHOD

  • Place watermelon, lemon slices and mint in a large container, cover with water and refrigerate
  • Decant into glasses and serve with ice, watermelon slices and mint leaves

 

Cucumber water – makes 25 glasses

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 litres sparkling water
  • 4 cucumbers, sliced
  • Serve with ice and cucumber slices

METHOD

  • Serve with ice and cucumber slices
