KRISTJANA WILLIAMS: ART IN THE SKY AT SEARCYS AT THE GHERKIN

Get artsy at the top of London’s most iconic skyscraper as award-winning contemporary artist Kristjana Williams arrives at Searcys at the Gherkin for an exclusive art exhibition. Launching from 28th February, as part of Searcys’ Art of Finesse’ series, the exhibition will showcase some of Williams’ iconic circular maps, inspired by life, mammals and landmarks from across the globe.

Displayed across the Helix restaurant and the private dining rooms, expect a collection of bright and vibrant artwork, including two exclusive 3D circular artworks, as a nod to the building’s shape and celebrating creatures of land, sea and sky, along with a giant London map, featuring London’s historical symbols and landmarks, and a skyline piece based on iconic buildings of beloved destinations, from Athens to Singapore.

Blending art with gastronomy, diners can get a taste of art when dining in the restaurant for lunch or dinner, tucking into a range of spring dishes where British produce is the star, or head to the very top for a fizz-tastic cocktail or glass of Champagne in the Iris Bar. Specially for the exhibition, Searcys’ mixologists have also created a new cocktail serve, The Kristjana with a fruity mix of Apple and Rhubarb-infused Ketel One vodka, elderflower syrup, lemon and topped with Searcys Champagne (£17).

Available until the end of May, enjoy sky-high views of London with a side of art at Searcys at the Gherkin.
